Prospector, Other Library Catalogs

Prospector

Prospector is a catalog that lists the holdings of more than a dozen major Colorado libraries, including CU-Boulder, CSU, and the University of Denver. Prospector enables you to request items from other institutions online whenever we don't have an available copy; items usually arrive at your own library within 2-3 business days. You can access Prospector from within The Source. See Circulation & Interlibrary Loan for more information about borrowing materials through Prospector.

Interlibrary Loan

If Prospector can't provide the items you need, try Interlibrary Loan. This is a cooperative project involving libraries all over the USA and abroad.

To make a request via Interlibrary Loan, click HERE, If you are not a UNC student, faculty or staff member, you may fill out a paper form request at the circulation desk. An Interlibrary loan request that is successfully filled will cost $5.00 per item for non-UNC patrons..

When your items arrive, email will be sent to your UNC campus e-mail account.  They will also display on your library account as items on hold for you.

Colorado Virtual Library

The Colorado Virtual Library provides direct access to all online Colorado libraries. You may search library catalogs individually, or all catalogs within a given region.

Libweb

Libweb, a service provided by Thomas Dowling and hosted by a server at UC-Berkeley, offers access to more than 3700 Web-interface library catalogs in more than 100 countries.
