Periodicals Collection
Many periodicals (newspapers, magazines, and journals) are available in an online format accessible through the Libraries' web site. The titles that are available in a paper format are located on the second floor of Michener Library. The Skinner Music Library also maintains periodicals collection. Both online and paper titles are listed in the online catalog, The Source, under the Periodical Title search.
Current issues of tItles in the paper collection are shelved alphabetically by title in the Current Periodicals Area. Older issues are kept in bound volumes, or on microfiche or microfilm.
The Michener Library Periodicals Area also houses several microform collections, including the ERIC documents collection of educational materials, the Evans' historical microform collection, the Library of American Civilization, the English Short Title catalog, and microform copies of dissertations. Please inquire at the Reference Desk for more information about using these materials.
