Services and Collection
The Reserve Desk, located alonside the Michener Library Circulation Desk, is open all hours the Library is open. The staff can be reached by telephone at 970-351-2671. The Skinner Music Library also maintains a Reserve collection.
The Reserve Collection provides convenient access to course materials selected by the faculty. Reserve allows many students to equally share class materials. The collection includes books, articles, audio and video recordings, educational kits and other items which are required for class assignments.
Electronic Reserve allows students to access course materials online. Readings selected by faculty are scanned and stored online, usually as PDF files, and can be viewed and printed by registered UNC students.
All materials in the Reserve collection, print and electronic, are listed by the requesting faculty member name and course number in the online list available through UNC Libraries online catalog (see links above).
