William Henry Jackson Photochroms

More than 750 photochroms made from photographs taken by William Henry Jackson, one of the most renowned 19th century photographers of the American West, have been donated to the University Libraries by Howard Gottlieb of Evanston, Illinois. The photochroms are available for viewing in the Archival Services Department. The images are a valuable resource for faculty and students at the university, particularly for the study of the history of photography, art, and American history.
