This is a collection of materials given by Hazel E. Johnson of Greeley to the University on the occasion of its Centennial in 1989. Ms. Johnson has lived in Greeley since 1938 when she first came here as a member of the staff of the Colorado State Revenue Department. She had gathered photographs, clippings and other items about the college since her arrival here.
On April 14, 1989, at the beginning of the Centennial celebration, the Library, together with other sponsors, held an Hazel Johnson Day reception. Information about the day is included in the file.
Ms. Johnson stipulated that her gift be maintained as a single collection in her name, and gave the materials to the Archives outright. A document to that effect is in the file. (Series 7)
