About Us
Located in the lower level of Michener Library, Archival Services houses:
- The University Archives, the central repository for the historical records of the University of Northern Colorado.
- The James Michener Collection, with materials including research notes, manuscripts, galley proofs, and correspondence, as well as field notebooks, maps, photographs and slides collected while Michener was writing his novels.
- A variety of special manuscript and book collections.
All members of the University of Northern Colorado community and other researchers are welcome to visit and use the collections.
