Chat with a librarian at the Michener Library Reference Desk, Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, and occasional other times as available. Please note that summer coverage may vary a bit. (Does it look like we're not on when we're supposed to be? You may have caught us at a time when we're working with someone else at the Reference Desk, or when one librarian has logged off and another is logging on - try back in a couple of minutes!)

AskColorado

AskColorado is a free online research and information service for Colorado students and faculty offered by Colorado libraries. Chat with a librarian 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (except certain holidays) and get help finding facts, journal articles, books, and other resources.

Many types of questions can be answered through the Library Reference email service. Send a message to: library.reference@unco.edu. Email is checked at this address several times during the day Monday through Friday.
Reference Services In Michener Library

Please stop by and consult with a Reference Librarian at the Michener Library first floor Reference Desk. We have many resources to help you with your library research, and we are happy to help you learn to use them effectively.

When classes are in session during fall and spring semesters, the Reference Desk is staffed: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 am-9:00 pm Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm Saturday, 1:00 pm-5:00 pm Sunday, 1:00-5:00 pm, 6:00 pm-9:00 pm. Times vary slightly during the summer semester and between semesters.
